Guys, give it 1 more week, n we will see a lot more active Ecas! 2 month of wait is normal, so do not worry too much

guys, i have a parking ticket, does it affect my background check up?

Your background check will have a problem only if police ever brought you back to the station (arrested) and-or got your finger print. Example : you assaulted someone, you involved in a brawl, you stole things from department store, etc. Those speeding ticket, let alone parking ticket, are nothing.

Update from me - this morning I was able to see the eCas.

I have a question - I am able to see my status but not my wife or child status online. Is it normal when we send the application together as family application. Even during PR also the same happened to me.

Seeing this update means my application is complete....

Mine's is also family application and I was able to see the status update for all family members. If there is change in last name make sure that you try both last names.

Most probably, you will get an update by tomorrow or by Sunday.
When was your application delivered ? Also, doesn't hurt to give CIC a call. They can at least confirm that your application was received and tell you the current status. I called myself and after a couple of days my status was updated. Not necessarily the reason for update but worth a shot

I thought CIC call center agents are looking at the same database as we do. If we cannot log into ECAS, they cannot see anything on their side, either, no?

April 28 applicant received test notice!!! Should be our turn in 2 , 3 months, I hope!!!!
So not fair Mississauga office holds oath everyday while Vancouver only do oath once a week. BOoooooooo
