Hi.

I got an email with the subject line "Ready For Visa - Prêt Pour Visa" and it says to send the Passport to Ottawa. However the E-Cas still shows status as In process.
Is it normal. or do i need to worry for anything...

Finally I too got the request for 'Ready for Visa' , my timeline is updated in Jun spread sheet under yk name.

Congrats!! Could you please share ur timeline and experience. I am a July 28, 2014 applicant. I have done MR on April 20, 2015, Waiting for RPRF. I asked my lawyer about upfront RPRF, but he said to wait for the request from CIC.

About paying upfront RPRF, my personal opinion is it will save you around one to two weeks time. Although I paid mine only when CIC requested it.

I just got my RPRF request a few minutes ago. I'm a June 30 applicant. My timeline is on the spreadsheet under the name 'Tom_and_Jerry'. Good luck to those still waiting.

Its been 3 months for me after medicals. I called CIC they are saying security check going on...

Its coming close to being 4 months since I did my medical.

I m june applicant as well. Medicals requested on Jan24. PCC requested March 16. Since then no communication from CIC.

Just wonder what's shown on your ECAS status / GCMS notes?

I received PCC request in March too and GCMS shows Recommend Passed. Then I went ahead with upfront medical. Now ECAS shows medical received.

I think I will do upfront RPRF, just not sure how much longer have to wait.

Please do upfront RPRF, I did mine May 5th it might save me some processing time.

cant relay on ecas completely , it varies

Thank you buddy... its true I sent my passport and today the ecas is showing as "Decision Made" and 4th line "A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."..
