Hi guys, I'm currently not in Canada but in my home country awaiting decision from CIC. So I was checking CIC's website and under CEC - After you apply...it mentioned something about showing proof of funds to support yourself and family once you arrive in Canada. I never submitted a bank statement and I'm currently not working. I didn't realize proof of funds was necessary under CEC. Any clarifications or opinions guys??

No one has. This is not a required document for CEC applications.
However, some officers, while completing the landing, ask for a bank statement.

Yeah, I set the spreadsheet to read only because people kept messing it up. I can give you edit permission if you have a gmail account.

oh ok, I understand.. yes I do have gmail account.

@ honeysingh and iam_toby
Thanks for the quick response. I was confused because I never saw that as being a criteria. Maybe its new. See link below under "Decision on your application"
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/cec/apply-after.asp

Also under "How we assess your application" on the above link it mentions:

"Provided qualifying work experience that is not in one of the occupations we are no longer accepting or the amount of applications received is not over the sub-cap for the listed occupation"
Might just be new.

Then you should be able to request access by opening the spreadsheet (it's linked in my signature) and trying to make a change.

Let me know if that doesn't work and I'll see what I can do - I've never tried doing this myself, but I get request emails from people every now and then, so the option is definitely out there. :)

Done! :) Maybe others members can help you out here - those of you who have successfully requested edit permission, how did you do it?

Come on, cheer up! At least you know all your documents are in order and MR is only a matter of time.

Hi,

My RCMP report has reached to CPP-Ottawa today. I just sent an email to CPP-Ottawa office asking for a confirmation.
