Hey Everyone,

I completed my landing yesterday sunday 9th. I went to rainbow bridge at niagara falls walked across to the us side and came back over. It went exactly the way it was described many times by other helpful members of this forum. The whole thing took me no more than 30 mins including walking

I just want to say thanks to everyone here you have all been very helpful and supportive . To everyone waiting keep at it, your time will come soon.

I have couple quick question about landing , hope you can help .
1. Do I need us visa to complete landing at rainbow bridge ?
2. My friend is coming with me niagara , can he accompany me while going towards us side ( he is on study permit and don't have us visa )?

1. No. You just go to the US side and get an "Administrative Refusal" letter, and come back to Canadian Customs to do the landing
2. Do not ask him to do this. He might get into trouble doing this.

hi guys ive seen all ur timeline and most of u got their ppr and visas...our application has been received in cem last june 1,2011 and our ecas is nedicals received since may 2013...can someone here explain whats happening in our app.or maybe in cem? im very stress out already whats taking them so long to give us what we want...

cecbear is right in his answers and i aslo agree that you shouldn't ask your friend to do this. he can wait on canadian side for you to return.

I wasn't asked for anything other than my passport, proof of address, my work permit and the cpr from cic ottawa. no bank statements

I think i need some advice from all of you, if possible. I am an early June 2012 applicant. I got an email requesting for RPRF and BioData form in early March 2013. I had completed both in that week but since then nothing moved forward. no medical request, no decisions made. I have queried on April 30 regarding my status. They replied that my application was following its due course and they would inform me about next steps in due time.

I am wondering if you guys know what "due time" infers and anything I can do at this point? The waiting is really killing me.

Order GCMS notes and see what's happening with your file!

yes, as others say you can order the GCMS notes, perhaps you'll see some progress there and it will put you at ease.
But ultimately I think there is nothing you can do, but just wait.

I am also waiting (applied in late may) and still waiting for my MR. I applied for notes in april and at least I found out that I passed the elegibility, so now I am just waiting for CIC to issue the MR, or biodata or RPRF request. Anything would be nice, but so far nothing...

I completed my landing at Rainbow Bridge this Morning , I successfully followed the same procedure of landing as described by senior members in lot of different topics . I want to thank everybody on this forum for their support and well wishes to complete this process . Once again thanks a lot guys .Cheers !!!!
