Email them asking for extension, just make sure to
Tell them the detail of all the things happened and apologize
For the inconvenience. Dont forget to attach any receipt or any proof that
You are already working out your wife's criminal record.
If you can also come personally to RCMP and request them if they could possibly
Speed up the process since you are only given limited time.
There's no harm in trying. Do everything you can.. You're almost there.
You're not the only one given this sort of final reminder many from applicants of different
Category had underwent same situation.
Goodluck!
thanks a lot.

i did everything. we did another fingerprints and rump sent it out on 23rd aug. so, cic should receive it before the deadline.

i have another question. my mailing address has been changed. if cic never send anything to mailing address, should i still tell them of the mailing address change?

Thanks iam_toby & jhoombarabar.

My eCAS status changed to "Complete" today.

================eCAS status update=========================================
We received your application for permanent residence on June 29, 2012.

We started processing your application on March 26, 2013.

Medical results have been received.

A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

You entered Canada at the Fort Erie Peace Bridge office on August 21, 2013 and became a Permanent Resident.

congrats!

can you tell me how they sent you their decision , through regular mail or just email ?

my mailing address has been changed, just wonder whether it's necessary to tell them.

thanks

On August 30, I received instructions for visa issuance by email ;D

after more than 6 months of no progress, finally it is coming to an end!

***INFORMATION REQUIRED***

Hi, me and my wife have received the Passport Request email and submitted our passports. I was wondering about the procedure to become landed immigrant as we are currently in Canada. I understand that I can do it by crossing into USA and coming back, However, my wife doesn't have USA visa. My question is how can we complete her PR process asap. I don't want to go back to my home country which is really far and not possible to go back right now.

Kindly, let me know if and how my wife can get her PR process completed!

Thanks

Search for "flagpole landing" in the forum. Basically you go to the US border, asks for an "administrative refusal" letter, and come back to the Canadian border to land (This works for the Rainbow Bridge and many other crossings). Alternatively, at the Peace Bridge, you can simply "turn back to Canada" following the signs and land without going to the US border. Congratulations and good luck with the landing.

Completed my landing on 31st Aug.

congratulations!!!

as for me, it seems that my story is also wrapping up.
Just noticed that my ECAS status changed to 'Decision made' (I did my medical quite recently).
It happened today, but no PPR yet. I guess it's not uncommon to have a gap between the Decision made and PPR.
Hopefully it will arrive soon.....
good luck to everyone who is still waiting!!!!!

Hi Seniors,

I just received the PPR, however, it also requests the Biodata which I sent them through eMail a while ago. Should I print and fill the Biodata form again and send them through mail along with the passport? OR they requested it because they somehow haven't received it or missed it?

Thank you,
Vincent.

Congrats! I think the PPR email is a standard email, but it's safer to send it again.
