1 year completed today after file submission still nothing stuck on bg check got some ghost updates on last friday and yesterday but nothing changed m very much in stress now

The processing time is getting worse, already over an year waiting for the final decision. Called ircc and got the response - “ you are under processing time of 34 months and your file is in process”. Feeling so helpless at this time.

I applied Feb 4 2025.. received AOR, prearrival services received, BIOmetrics completed, Eligibility for sponsor and PA (approval in principle) completed. Now long wait for BGC and possibly medical but 34 months? Hell nah I'm hoping 1 year Max processing time maybe 1 year 1 month at most that's a ruthless reply from the office. Keep us updated plz

My health card got expired and sowp extension is in progress and i hve work authorization letter
And for PR file i have eligibility letters for both and pre arrival letter also can i renew it with these documents or no????

They will not renew your health card until you have a valid document like work permit or Ecopr. In my case they said I will have to pay upfront for any medical cost related to appointments and stuff and once the health card is renewed, submit the receipts for reimbursement.
