I work with children so I needed a medical exam in applying for the SOWP. It’s going to be a year now, (done sometime in June 2024). I guess we'll have to wait and see what they say. Has anybody asked for a GMCS notes lately? I sent a webform inquiry and I got the canned response, “we are processing your application”.

On GCKey. The refund was for my OWP in connection with my Family class application. It was 3 months more than the normal processing time and so they sent me Half of the processing fee.

My SOWP took 9 months to process!! I never got a refund lol

no I was in status. submitted in July and got it in April.

Hello everyone, is there anybody in here who’s medical eligibility completely erased? It was gone since mid March and its still empty until now. They processed my OWP late (8 months, instead of 3-5 months) and they had to refund half of it. I don't want that to happen to my PR application.

Similar to mine. Mine has been gone since Dec or Jan? I can't even remember now, might be in my signature. Anyways, one of two things can happen now, this might just be a glitch or we might need to do medical again (even if the old result has not expired). I have seen some applicants receiving medical requests very close to the end (similar to us, there had disappeared in GCKey), so we might just get a medical request but soon after P1 follows so stay positive! I had called IRCC in april and the lady said that my medical being blank was just a glitch and I have indeed passed it but I don't really rely on call agents responses, we'll just have to wait and see.

Saw a P1 come in for July 8th and July 7th applicant. So its definitely moving along.

Have you tried calling to see where they are stuck? I also saw a couple of June 30th applications get p1s' 10/12 days later so hopefully the same for you!

I am not sure calling ever helps. But I just did, of course the background is still in progress, criminality in progress, info sharing not started. So IRCC BS as usual
