May I know if there's somebody here who's COR is in the middle east and still waiting also for background check/PPR?

yes me, I am from Iran, Aor 12 July 2021, eligibility passed 5 Jan 22 and security not started since then. I also have an extensive travel history

BTW, I doubt lengthy security check is solely related to CoR, I know another Iranian from July 2021 who got his ready for visa email last week.

Have a lot of travel history as well but mostly vacation/tourism only...
Have you requested for gcms notes? Where is your VO? I just noticed to some UAE applicants who got their PPR already their VO is Sydney then Abu Dhabi.. but before it's usually London for middle east COR. It's quite confusing now...

Ye I have ordered gcms from CBSA but not received yet. my visa office is CIO (Sydney), I guess the delay is more down to travel history

July AOR, PCC expired already (6 months passed) and medical soon to complete a year.. just praying we'll get PPR soon...

I'm also from Iran.
AOR: 31 July
VO: CIO Sydney
As per calls to IRCC, everything is passed except security which is not started.
Also, I had a request to send additional documents (CV & Military Records), which I submitted last week on 12 February.
Still waiting .....
