Thank u so much. Just to confirm, in this case me and my dependent will be an inland applicant?
I got the document number in COPR status in my CIC account. Can someone please let me know what needs to be done next? I got a expire date on that documetn number as well?

Under the law there is no such thing as inland or outland. Only the procedure on how the COPR is issued differs for applicants who are in Canada and who are outside. For applicants in Canada, currently IRCC is sending COPR and effective that date you become a PR. For applicants outside Canada, IRCC sends a PPR.
If the primary applicant is in Canada and dependent family members outside Canada, then unless the PA becomes a PR, i..e gets COPR the other family members cannot land in Canada, and they will also have to wait for a PPR to submit their passports.
When your family members move to Canada, make sure you update their address with IRCC.

Looks like a system glitch more than GU, cause lot of people got it. But I really hope that was a GU - first from December for me.
July 29. Still waiting. Med and eligibility pass, GCMS from October said I pass criminally and info sharing but agent last month said they are in process along with security
Eligibility recommended passed, Criminality passed, Security not started as per call to IRCC last week
