I got an email and it says "The decision envelope for your application, tracking ID No.111111 has been dispatched from the IRCC Office, to the Canada Visa Application Centre in CVO."

Do you know where CVO is?
I have to pick COPR up at Visa Centar in Tokyo. I'm wondering if CVO is in Tokyo.
Never mind. I've just got an email says Visa Center in Tokyo recieved a decision envelope so I have to pick it up.
Does a decision envelope mean COPR is in the envelope? I've already got "Approved" of final decision on my gckey.

Assuming you got the passport request (or equivalent for ETA country), that should be the COPR.

Hi! I've just got COPR.
my application was recieved Jul.31st, 2019.
I'm just wondering why my COPR was issued by Hong Kong visa office but my PPR was processed by Manila office. Anyway, I'm so happy. Good luck everyone!

Congratulations.

IRCC uses regional hubs such as Manila that do most/much of the processing of the files (specialising to various degrees in different types). But they use the other visa offices at embassies and consulates to issue the COPRs and place the visas (counterfoils) in the passports. Not dissimilar from the way that some applicants (outland) may have their files processed in a regional hub and if they are in Canada, the COPR can be issued in Canada. Or indeed some can have their files processed in Canada but the visa/COPR issued at an embassy or consulate.

Note the practice can change over time for various reasons at specific offices, during covid some changes too.

Our GCKey finally got a (minor) update... now they are saying that they are reviewing additional documents (*nothing sent to them since we forwarded the CSQ just in case in March, and before that it was December) + they said today that the applicant passed the medical exam (which had already been passed in Nov 2019)
Not sure if this is something to get excited about but at least they are looking at the file now which is the best we've got since Jan 2020...

Me again :) We just got DM and PPR at once!
Reminder: CPC-M, applicant from the US sponsored by Canadian citizen to move to Quebec.
Application was in Jul 2019
Submitted CSQ in Oct 2019, medicals in Nov 2019
Application changed to "In process" in Jan 2020
CSQ received March 3, 2020
No news until the last few days when we got a "passed medical exam"
Email came in early this morning...

Good luck to everyone!

Once whole sponsorship process is completed what is normally the validity period (how many months at the minimum) of COPR to travel to Canada?
