Hi, I received email from Etobicoke on 1st March 2021, requesting additional docs to support our relationship & cohabitation to submit by 8th March 2021. Did anyone else in the group received same request?

Hi all,

just wanted to tell you people the update of mine.
I celled IRCC this morning.
And, agent told me my case is now at Niagara Falls office
** it does not show on the online tracking page, as it's still stated it's at Mississauga.

And, as I asked about the virtual interview, agent said IRCC will contact my lawyer and schedules a meeting time with me once it's available.

So, yep, nothing progressive going on with my situation.

Anyone knows what's the meaning of transfer to Niagara Falls?

Thanks.

hope we all can get our cases done ASAP as it's just too much with the delay.

By the way, I also went on IRCC site..
and it shows that....

We’re still accepting family sponsorship applications.

We’re currently finalizing most applications we received between
September 29 and October 5, 2019
If your application is complex, it may take us longer to process it.
Due to COVID-19
  • we’re giving priority to Canadians trying to return to Canada
  • we can’t process applications normally and can’t give accurate processing timesfor most types of applications
    • if you contact us, our Client Support Centre agents do not have additional information on processing times
  • we can’t give you more information than what is already in your online account or in the Client Application Status tool

So, we, July 2019 Applications are...........likely ignored?

I guess different office has their own vibe/speed to process cases....
so, if slow office probably just not gonna do anything.....

I am sorry for your situation. :(
I now just try not to think, but then, my work permit is going to expire in October....
so... my least wish is to get my pr before I need to re-apply the working permit.
