FSW / Common-law (1 dependent) / Inland /
CRS 491

PR profile submitted on May 2nd
ITA May 29th
AOR July 5th
Medical passed Aug 1st

Biometrics not paid during PR submission (was optional and we thought we'd receive a letter saying we have to pay and submit them). Biometrics paid on December 5th and receipt sent via a Web Form the same day.
Looks like they don't need our biometrics as we still don't have the letter requesting to give them and when asked about it IRCC said that they don't need them.

Called IRCC on December 16th
- Asked questions about BOWP before submission

Called IRCC on January 7th
- said VO was Sydney, NS

GCMS Notes requested on January 7th

Called IRCC on January 21st
- They are still processing our background check
- IRCC doesn't need our biometrics for the PR (we gave them for the BOWP anyway)
- VO is now Ottawa, ON

Hi everyone!
Hope you are doing well!

E-APR 5th July
MEP: 31st July
Schedule A Declaration Form Request: 31st July
Biometric Request: 2nd August
Biometric Complete: 16th August

VO: Ottawa
Eligibility: Recommended Pass on 22nd November
Criminality: Passed on 16th August
Security: Not Started

Simple question: Any idea how long it takes based on the information I've given? I understand it's extremely subjective but a rough timeline is all that I am looking for.

Thank you and best of luck to everyone!

We have pretty much the same timeline.
Which stream have you applied for?

You should call IRCC to know more and you should also ask and pay for the GCMS notes.

No one here can tell you how long it can take.

My stream is the Federal Skilled Workers program-Outland. (Applied through express entry outside Canada)
The information I posted was given to me by IRCC. I did think about getting GCMS notes but the IRCC agent said there is nothing required on my end and that everything is ‘so far so good’. Hence, the decision to not order them.

I just need a rough timeline tbh.

One more question: what exactly do these terms like recommended pass mean? Does it mean the case analyst has passed my application and just need a confirmation from the final officer?
Thanks again!
