Yes. Awaiting review by an officer doesn't necessarily mean review required.

I think it will be a good idea to raise a Case specific enquiry using the the IRCC Webform. I also got the ghost update on 6th December with 26th July AOR. Submitted the enquiry on 19th Jan and received this reply on 28th Jan;

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We verified the information you provided regarding the status of your application and have forwarded it to the responsible office.

They will contact you if further information is required or if a decision is made on your application.

We hope the information provided is helpful in assisting you with your enquiry.

We would also like to suggest the following online services that might be helpful to you with any immigration, refugee and/or citizenship future requests:
Received ready visa email on 4th February

Experts on this group can confirm this, but I think you should inform IRCC about the change of address with the date of moving there.

If you're 100% certain that you'll be moving to Tunisia by 6th of March, you can inform them now otherwise wait till you move.

Raised another CSE today, hoping for some update on my file after I submitted new POF documents a few weeks ago.

I had to submit documents within 30 days ( 3rd March) before they’d make a final decision so is it likely someone will look at the file around that date?

Additional questions, we have to land before our medical expiry date correct? If so, what happens if you get PPR a short time before that date (a month before expiry for example) do they expect you to take another medical or do they grant an extension of some kind?

They're known to ask for re-meds or extend the medicals if the medicals will expire around 2 months to when PPR is issued.

Hi all,

I have submitted my PR application on Dec 1, 2018 and received medical update on Jan 11-2019. No further updates after that (So called IP2). I have gone through the September and July AOR threads in this forum and could see ppl are still waiting in line. But I have also seen few Nov and Dec PNP guys received their PPR.

I am not sure of the timeline here. If this is going to take more than 6 months, I don't want to put my life on hold :(

Can someone please let me know when can I expect an update- according to the current timeline? Below are my application details,

CSR-465
NOC-2174
FSW-Outland- India
Single applicant - No travel history
ITA- Oct 3-2018
AOR- Dec 1-2018
Medical cleared- Jan 11

Plan for the PR taking longer than 6 months and hope for it to take less than 6 months. That's the best advise you can get.

Thank you, I am getting new job opportunity in Sweden. Since I am waiting for Canada PR, I am not sure what should I do.

Will there be any issues if I travel to other countries ? Apart from updating new address to CIC, will there be any other complications?
No. there's no issue.
Live your life to the fullest while waiting...
