Are you living in the Montreal area? I read that they're doing a pilot study with walk-in PR landings at this office (do your landing whenever you want) but for other offices they just give you an appointment date + time?
Halifax. Its Walk-in, no appointment needed. It took just 10 minutes for the landing.

CSE means Case Specific Enquiry.
We can use it to get some specific information like Visa Office or upload some important information that we missed while submitting the application.
Please do not use it to know the status of your application.

You just need to fill the below IRCC Webform and submit.
https://secure.cic.gc.ca/enquiries-renseignements/canada-case-cas-eng.aspx
Great, I also want to know my VISA office where the application is being processed, that's why I asked.

But, it says,
You may use this form if:
  • You have submitted an application or profile.
  • Your application has exceeded normal processing times. We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times.
Isn't that a issue since my application still not exceed the normal processing times? (AOR - 24th July)

Order GCMS notes to know your VO & the status of your application.

I also emailed like you and ask for the VO. Then I got the same automatic reply as yours. I thought they will not willing to provide any info before the normal processing time period expires. What' your timelines? At what stage (after how many days from AOR date) did you submit this Web Form?

Enquiry about Visa Office is fine. It gives an idea about processing times. You go ahead and submit it but I will advice not to call them or raise CSE to get status updates. As we patiently need to wait atleast upto 4 months.

Ordering GCMS is a good idea if you have submitted documents that might not have been in the perfect format. So it's good to keep a track so in case something is missing, you can immediately raise a CSE and submit the missing information. As I had submitted PF documents and didn't have proper reference letter, I decided to order GCMS after 45 days.

Thanks for the advice. One more question. Did you submit the web form to IRCC after waiting for 10 business days? And also, how many days you had to wait for their reply on your query after sending through the web form?
