JULY 2016 - Citizenship Applicants

Only questions asked was what work do I do this is to access language part of exam
Interview is for family; husband and wife, not sure what they do if there are older kids
I had the language report, which was looked at.
All documents attached to the application were cross verified with orignals .total interview Took 10 min, asked if I had any questions, and then told that I have met all conditions
And I should look out for oath letter.
I was at Scarborough location

Hello I guess I'm the only applicant with the longest waiting period after IP. Heres my timeline

No update on ecas up to now... My question: is this a normal waiting period??? I'm looking at other's timeline it seems like the pattern is within 2-3 weeks they 've already received the test invite after IP... And with regards to test invite, will it show on ecas or received thru mail? :

It depends on local office, to my knowledge it might take 2-3 months to get an test invitation for routine app or even more, but it might change with local office and work load in each month. they might be from Calgary , Edmonton which seems to be faster these days.

Yes test invitation will show up in ecas within 2-3 days after it is sent from local office. It might come by email or post depending on local office.

DO THEY TAKE AWAY PR CARDS AT EXAM DAY?

My case is family; myself, my spouse and 2 kids below 14yrs old.

1. Shall I make a folder for every member, i.e. every adult and every kid?
2. Do they retain, i.e. take away our PR cards?

1. separate folder for adults only, keep kids docs with one of you
2. PR cards are taken away only on Oath ceremony not on test/interview

Hi,
I have a question to the fellows with family applications who have already passed the test and interview.
Will the interview be held for the whole family together at the same time ? or each adult family member will be interviewed separately ?

My family also received their test invitation on September 22 2016 to appear in October mid for test.

One question they do not have original ielts result with them right now. While immigration it was submitted in 2012 they never get it back.

Nice to know. I guess patience is a virtue. This happened again way back when we're waiting for our Visa before lol! Thanks!
