Hi Guys,

In Addition to Received Line Disappearance .. My Middle name is incorrect now on E-CAS System .. they flipped two letters in my Dad's Name... The Name was correct before!! Any Other people faced similar issues? I already submitted a request online to fix this!

I am just wondering if they have re-entered my name after transfering the file .. I am worried my Citizenship card will have a wrong name because of this typo.

So, I log on with my Client ID and see what I see -- the Received line, the In Progress line, my address. Now, I log on with my PR card number, and the Received line disappears :D... They should fire their QA analysts...

What does it mean when the received line disappears? Do the processing line disappear too or only the received?

Just the received line. The rest are there.

What happens when it disappears? Do applicants receive test date shortly after?

I wouldn't relate it to any next steps...

Thats what I was thinking too. Some called CIC when their received line disappeared and were told their file has been opened. Means nothing really.

If your line has gone, means your file is already in local office. Some people's line is still there even after the oath, but that's rare.
Next thing :
- Finger print ??? or
- Test invitation 8) or
- Ridiculous Queue :o.

My received line disappeared today.

Appl received date: July 21st
ECAS active: 28th Sep

BLT is correct...dissappearing line mean ur file is about to go through back ground check...and if ur name comes up too many time in rcmp data base...u will b asked to submit fingerprint....if they are ok with ur data base search U get invitation for the test.

Application processed on September 17.

No acknowledge letter received yet.
No study guide canada received yet.
Does anybody know which would be my local office ?
I live in Mackenzie BC. That's 2 hours north of Prince George.
And where would I go for my test?

CIC has immigration services offices in the Greater Vancouver Area (Vancouver, Richmond, Surrey). To my knowledge, there aren't any such other offices in Northern BC. That being said, they could have officers travel once or twice a year in PG. You will be informed in your test letter of the venue of your test/interview.

My received line disappeared with now extra information or requests! Any ideas?
