Hi All,
Regarding PCC in document checklist its mentioned that need to be submitted when requested by officer and PCC are valid for one year from the date of issue.
And in in the instruction guide it says that PCC shall not be prior to 3 months from the date of submission of application.


I submitted my application in July without PCC and I received that in August , I'm waiting for officer to request for the PCC. Please suggest shall send them my PCC directly or wait for the request.

Your PCC is close to expiring if it has not already expired. Send it right away.

I received my AOR.and it clearly mention that do not send additional documents unless it has been asked.

I also have to submit my pcc from india.

so please advise what to do?

Secondly whats the address where i should submit my pcc

PCC is the only document that is an exception to the instruction of not sending additional documents unless requested by CIC as PCC has a limited period by which CIC should receive it. Another interpretation of this is to wait till CIC issues request for PCC and you initiate the process of applying and sending the PCC.

If you have received an updated Police Clearance Certificate ( PCC ), which CIC asked you for or, if you haven't submitted
a PCC with your initial application, it is your duty to provide CIC with an updated and valid document as soon as possible.

To do so, you will have to

1. Mail ( yes, mail NOT email ) the original document to Citizenship and Immigration Canada,

2. Attach a cover letter stating: Surname (last name), Given name(s) (first name), Date of birth (YYYY-MM-DD), Unique Client Identifier (UCI) number / Client ID number, Application number ( F#, EP#, E#, B#), Type of application (Family Sponsorship, Canadian Experience Class, Provincial Nominee, Quebec Skilled Worker)

3. Send the package to the address below:

Case Processing Centre – Ottawa
219 Laurier Avenue West, 7th floor, section B
Ottawa, Ontario K1A 1L1
Canada

Hey guys I also applied in early July and got AOR by early September. I see that there is very less activity now for other applicants including March,April & May applicants.

Any idea if things go fine by when we could expect MR requests and finally get PR??

Apr'14 applicants are getting their MR in about 205-210 days from the date of Application received, irrespective of days took to get AOR, some had got AOR in 25 days, some had got AOR in 35-40 days, but their MR took 205 days!

As we July'14 applicants got AOR in range of 50-65 days, but MR should be received in same avg. days... so calculating 210 days from July'14, it comes to Feb'15..and considering no activities for 2 weeks during upcoming Christmas..may be by mid March'15 most of us should receive MR

Contact CIC at 1888-242-2100 and explain the issue and they should be able to resolve it for you.

Hello,

You certainly can but whether you wish to do it that's a call you need to make. What I expressed is my opinion and what I would have done if I was in the same situation. The lawyers generally don't advise the applicants to apply for the PCC in advance as you did.

I also ordered PCC from my home country. I sent email to ask Ottawa to see if they want me to send over last week.
They told me to hold until VO request.
However, it is up to you to send it over to them

Just noticed a huge decline in number of applications accepted in individual categories. No idea what`s going on . Any thoughts ?
