hi by now most of you have given your medical.. does anyone have a copy of the medical form that needs to be filled before the exam.. i just wanted to know what all they ask you on paper. thanks!

it depends on hospital for immigration medical checkup. They just checked Country, type of application and Upfront or not. I said Canada, PR and Upfront. that's it... 8)

do i have to have them a form about authorization of release information and privacy act?
i have contacted my MP and their office send me a form and asked me to get them that in order to have them involved in my case.

so whom so ever knows about this,please reply me asap.

I had my MP make an enquiry on my behalf - and I had to give authorisation for them to do so.

Hi there.. I applied online on August 20, 2015 and got approved last Friday. Thus, almost 3 months. My expiring work permit would have been expired today (Nov 16, 2015).

Weird!! you apply for BOWP Aug 20th and got approved already? People is July is still waiting for approval. ODD!!!

I applied for extension for my WP on 15 Sept, 2015.
Have no updates.

My existing has already expired on 20 Oct, 2015 and I am at the moment on implied status, without Health card and SIN number.
It really sucks they are taking so long to process our PR, and on top of that they need 3-4 months to extend WP. During the implied status we pay taxes and get no health benefits.

Good news their site updated the avg processing time for WP extension from 140 days to 116 days.

hi there i applied mine ( BOWP ) sept 4 and i got an approval confirmation on friday as well. this is my second time to apply also gave me a little bit of relief yet no news from my pr though, another year to wait...

So i just spoke to two lawyers and and emailed cic and they all told me that i cant do an upfront medical as thats only for spousal class. Is that true?? Has anyone who appled under cec on his own do an upfront and get the pr yet??

Not all the service ontario works on WP holder. I know Etobicoke centre opposite to Isslington Subway does process such applicants. Take an appointment and visit them. All the best..
