Seems very quiet in here!

My flight continues to languish in Sydney. No local office transfer as of Friday March 14th. According to CIC agent - all is well, just continue to chill.

All I know is that my file LOT'ed in Feb. And I am just waiting.

Other people in thread who doesn't have test date in the table, are you waiting? Or you just didn't update the table?

Nothing from my side, CIC told me last time i called that my file was still in Sydney, but the agent said everything was ok with the file so far.

Hello Friends,

I had the citizenship test and interview on Monday, March 17 2014 at Mississauga Office. They asked all the people(about 40) with the green form to gather in one big hall, then they started calling each one of us for interview, there were around 10-12 people taking interview. My interview lasted for around 40-45 minutes, the officer asked me what do I do, and verified my original documents with the copies I submitted with my application he took a lot of time in verifying the passport stamps. After all the interviews were done, we were asked to take the citizenship test. They already told us in advance, that since we have had our interview, and if no other additional information is required, we would get the Oath Notice. After the test, they took some 5-10 minutes and started calling people and handing them over the letter to appear for Oath on Friday 21 March 2014, I was pleasantly surprised and shocked to get the Oath letter, that has been the story at the Mississauga Office, they have been lightning fast in processing of citizenship applications.

I hope and pray that all those in waiting get citizenship soon.

What kind of documents the office verified ? Job letter , T4 etc ?

Hi Muzmil,

The officer verified all the documents that were submitted with the application such as: Record of Landing, Permanent Resident Card, Drivers' license(IDs I submitted in my case), Degrees etc.

Thank you very much for sharing your experience. Can you please advise whether you had a Single or Family application and also how many days after eligibility did you apply for citizenship? Was there any out of country travel during the last 4 years?

Single applicant and never got RQ. Place of Birth: Taiwan

The officer told me expect 2 months before I get a oath letter, but I got it within 2 weeks!!! 8 months of total processing time. CIC is getting faster. good luck everyone!

Same thing here, CIC agents told me a FP request was mailed to me on March 3rd, however I did not receive it yet. When I told CIC they said I have to wait for 8 weeks before considering the mail is lost. Meanwhile, my application is stuck in Sydney.
