Hi,

I had applied for citizenship on July 3rd 2013 and it was received at CIC on 8th July 2013. Did anyone received acknowledgment letter?

The forum would really use an FAQ with AOR timelines - Mods are you there?

Call CIC today July 19 and ask them the question - "what date applications are you opening?". If they tell you a date before July 8 then relax and enjoy the summer. If they tell you a date after July 8 (which they won't) then something is wrong. It takes 6-10 weeks to get an AOR...try and forget about this for a while else you will stress out and miss out on the sunshine!

Citizenship - CIC-Sydney has opened applications received as of April 26th 2013 - July 18th 2013(3 months) - Backlog

Has anyone called CIC-CPC-Sydney Office to ask for what date applications have been opened so far ?
