Been awhile since I dropped by.... Congrats to everyone moving forward...

I have some good and some bad news... Looks like delhi office stage 2 timings have been updated and are now 10 month :'(

If Nov 1 is when I got stage one approval that means potentially we have to wait until August.... :'( :'( :'(

Good news.. its been too long so I'm planning a trip to see the wife!! Can't wait 8)

While, just checked eCAS, it says decision made. Does this mean the visa is issued? We send my wife's passport in exactly 2 weeks ago. Weird thing is that we don't see a line with her future Canadian address in eCAS. Don't want to celebrate until passport and visa are in our hands.

That's a little mean. Let them speak their language. There will be others who will understand and reply in their language.

English is also an official language of the Philippines, so I say what better time to get used to it than now.

Actually It kinda bothers me the Filipino language threads, as I've asked for help and cannot get responses, but then I see many in those threads popping up and speaking rather good English in other threads.....so the vast majority can and do speak good English.

I have been all through the Philippines with my wife and I have never met anyone that cannot speak English.....So why no answers to valid questions?

Trust me, I love my wife and really respect her culture and encourage keeping it when she lands....I even want our children to learn from both sides.....

BUT

We are here to help everyone, and singling themselves out doesn't help anyone except themselves. It's because of that I will not respond to Tagalog questions, even when I partially understand, and even when I know I can help.....because I've asked.

Have to agree with Luckyman on this point. These month's are international boards and the website is in English. What would happen if everybody spoke in their own language, simple the website would die. By all means set up a thread for Tagalog, French, Russian, German, Spanish even Italian but the monthly international boards should remain in English. I have nothing against those who want to set up their own foreign language thread but that is exactly what it should be, a specific foreign thread.

I have added you to the spreadsheet. If you don't mind me asking: What date did you get sponsor approval? Also, just confirming - you have already received PPR and have sent it in for processing? Does that mean you have not had to go for an interview and it has been waived?

Here's hoping obtaining your COPR goes as smoothly as the rest of your processing time!
