Thanks rachiy, prithiv, Double Rainbow, tavora and everyone else!
Rachiy, is your ECAS still displaying "Application Received", or has it changed to "In Process"? I am hoping mine updates to in process in the next few weeks!

Still showing "Application Received." I am hoping that too!

I am flying out to NZ on Wednesday for a quick visit (my first time going back since I came to Canada almost 4 years ago!!) and I have this secret hope that when I re-enter on my WP the officer will tell me that my PR is approved and ask me if I want to land right then and there. I know its not going to happen, even if my application did get finalized by then I wouldn't have the paperwork or anything, but it is still my little fantasy. lol.

It is going to be a crazy two weeks with family and friends flying in from all over NZ and Australia just to see me, so maybe with all the excitement I will just forget all about this process and by the time I get around to checking e-cas there will be a nice update for me!

Hi Bagel

Congrats! Thats great news..... so technically you're "In Process"

You did tell your BF that you have responsibilities with the spreadsheet and the wedding planning will have to wait right ;) just kidding.

Cheers

Haha!! Yes he thinks it's amusing that I take so much joy out of updating the spreadsheet! I am making sure that wedding planning will not ever get in the way of my spreadsheet happiness ;)

I have a good feeling rachiy that everything will come at once for you! Have a great time back in NZ!!

@ Bagel
Good to hear about the spreadsheet. Just remember, you'll likely be able to apply at CIC with your spreadsheet experience on your resume. Just think of all the nationalities you're currently managing simultaneously.

Does anyone know if the VO's close up during the holidays for an extended period? Or is it just the stats? I suppose it will be the luck of the draw with which officer you have and if he's off or not.

Cheers

While, just checked eCAS, it says decision made. Does this mean the visa is issued? We send my wife's passport in exactly 2 weeks ago. Weird thing is that we don't see a line with her future Canadian address in eCAS. Don't want to celebrate until passport and visa are in our hands.

Congrats! That means the visa is issued and your COPR is en route by mail. Don't worry about the address in eCAS as it's not always up-to-date. They should have the right address to send the COPR to you.

Thanks, still anxious. Guess I won't be able to completely relax until passport and COPR are in hand.
