super positive news on my side.

Hong Kong visa office sent me an email requesting passport...

but Mississauga office messed up our police certificate...(my wife is in state; we submitted our FBI PC after sending out the full package) now HK office asked us to contact Mississauga to transfer that piece and request another New York State PC which i dont see in the application kit requirement...

anyway good luck to all julyers....

waiting is pain in the ass Sending you positive vibes superbtang and good luck for the rest of us Juliers. Hopefully we will receive good news very soon ;) 8) :D ;D

bagelbagel81,

My wife got stage 2 AOR from the Beijing embassy (re-beijing-immigration@international.gc.ca) dated Nov 13th :D For others waiting to hear from Beijing, the letter said they currently require eight ( 8 ) months to process routine cases. Hope it can be quicker than that.

Congrats, getting any news from them is always a good feeling.

Hi all,
My partner and I started the application process in July 2012, so here are the timelines and updates from beginning to end we experienced.

Category: FAM Common-law. (My fiancee is Korean, and we both live together in Canada during this process)
Visa office: Seoul, Korea
All meds and payments were done in advance before mailing the app.

Full Application mailed to Mississauga office: July 13 (arrived in Mississauga on July 16)
Sponsor App AOR (UCI & App# created): August 18
Sponsor App Approved (letter sent via email): August 21

App sent to Seoul, Korea Visa office: August 21
Seoul office AOR: September 6
Applicant App Started processing: October 16
Request for more info (Korean entry/exit certificate): October 16
"Decision Made" status: November 6
CoPR received by mail at Canada address: November 13 (actual issue date on CoPR paper is Oct 30)

So exactly 4 months from mailing our app to receiving the CoPR in the mail. I think we had lots of good luck on our side :D
