Holy crap! Got PPR via email this afternoon. Can't believe it. This must be a record. Only about 2 weeks after receiving AOR2 from HK. They must be making up for stage 1.

Hong Kong is on the ball. This is where I was born and happy to know they still welcome us after 40 years !! Best to all of you in stage2 !!

hey bagel a small correction in the spreadsheet

app sent on 4th july

app received by cic on 5th july

approval letter via e-mail on 23rd oct

and by mail on 25th oct but it was dated 23rd oct ( this is the amazing part )

Just loged into Ecas, it shows application in process as of October 30th 2012 for my wife. We are getting looked at now . I wonder if it is the fact that I had sent extra proof of relationship on my own that made them take our file?

Congratulations lioha I still waiting from VO for an AOR. Hopefully I will hear something,anything soon : I wonder tho if the PRE gets terminated in January 2013 what will happen to their homes, property and will they be able to come and go freely as they would now with a PRE? The PRE protects them from losing their homes and property and gets them in and out of Cuba without hassle and it is supposed to be for life I think? I hope hubby can leave on a PRE before that goes through or if it goes through at all?

Our application was filed July 17th, sponsor approval august 26, police reports requested from mexico city october 12! everything seems to be moving quickly an efficiently!

Does it take longer to get PPR?

Hi remmuh, welcome! I have added you to the spreadsheet. I think the Manila VO is one of the busiest in terms of processing VISAS, so I don't think they give Stage 2 AORs, having said that it may not be the case every time! Your best bet might be to ask someone in a Manila thread, and take a look at previous Manila spreadsheets.
