I am new to this forum and I also applied for FSW Category 1 under NOC 1122.

I am pretty sure everyone is having anxiety attacks as I read thru this forum, but anyways let us just hope for the best. Think positive guys!

I would like to share this update:

1. Their is a new eligibility tool and it is more complicated compare to the previous eligibility tool.
2. under the question, What is your occupation? you will notice that they have removed Professional Occupations in Business Service to Management and Registered Nurses. (Bad news I think for those who have not applied for the said NOCs) Let us just hope it is a technical glitch in their sytem.
3. This tool doesn't work ( as of 1:58am UTC+8:00, Manila).
4. If you will check it definitely you will also ask the same predicament on where the hell is NOC 1122.

But then again guys, specially to those who already sent their applications in CIO, just hope for the best, everything will pass and you will have your visa as I will also have it! :)

Based on my previous post:

The new eligibility tool is now working properly... ;D

True 1122 is not anymore in the list of occupations on the new tool together with NOC 3152 ... Probably cause are the ones with most applications received and "completed"

Probably its reflecting the current scenario of this year or may be they are planning to completely remove it.. But chances are that this will get removed next year as we were expecting 1122 not to appear this year as well..

Thank you for posting the link on my behalf.

Yes indeed, can't see no other reason why they removed both NOCs. Soon the cap for both NOCs will be reached. I do hope CIC could update the list soon so that people who intend to file their applications will not he misled that they could still reach the cap.

They may want to remove 1122 because of fraud issues with this particular NOC but they definitely are not removing 3152. It is probably a glitch in the system.

confusion is that on this link the 'Date Modified: 2011-04-01' which is before July 2011. 2nd thought is that they have modified the Occupation list in the database which is reflecting in the dropdown but form design/field is not changed, that's y it is showing previous date.

I think they forgot to update the footer of the page.... Probably they are testing the homepage, the problem is that they went online :o

Hey cow
Count me in for that crane operators course.

Dint know that it was such a prestigious job................. ;)

Let us just hope it is a glitch in the system.... took note of the date, indeed it shows that it was not modified today. and they just add this new tool, likelihood that the occupation list followed the occupation list before 2011-04-01.
