Hi everyone

This is my first post on here although i have been lurking on the forum for a while now.

I have applied under cat 0631. My agent emailed yesterday saying my application had received ' a positive final determination of eligibility for processing, it has now been forwarded to London visa office for the next stage of processing'.

I know i have enough points but does this mean there will be checks to my former employers or does this mean we have passed those checks and the further processing involves security and health checks only?

I ask as i am trying to figure out the time lines involved and it is difficult to plan not knowing how far we are with the application.

I just received answer to email enquiry to CIO re: FSW application status. I filed under NOC 1122 received by CIO July 26.
Response is...

Returned due to CAP Reach..
time to consider other means of entry to Canada. (QSW perhaps).

And i will like to suggest that moderators should a "VERIFICATION" column in spreadsheet. It can be helpful.

wow, salamat sa reply! natakot naman ako hopefully we all got the PER. there's a lot of post in other threads that says, they have been declined bec the cap was reached, esp on noc 3152.. keeping our fingers crossed and praying for a positive outcome. God bless kabayan!

Try to get an LMO compliant job offer.

for browm_eyes, LMO has been tightened with stringent conditions since the first quarter of 2011, bit difficult getting it even for pple on work permit wanting to renew, its really an arduous undertaking as most employers dont want to go through that stress except u're super genious. u can give it a shot tho.

First of all, I would like to welcome Westpoint back to our thread we missed you dear and I see ur focusing on blue color, in hope we turn you blue soon.

Tim Hortons has finally opened its first outlet in The middle east in Dubai, so I tried it today and I got to say that there will be no more Caribou/Costa/Starbucks for me! Really good coffee and excellent bagels

Just wanted to share an experience and of course welcome our beloved Westpoint.

BTY, my theory on the late 1122 charges are true as confirmed by the files published! But they do not say on which basis they choose the applicant who will replace the one who got the Ner.
