Dear forcabarca, did you get the second AOR? If not then how do you know your file transfer date? I am interested because my VO is London also.

Now,

I was amongst the lucky few who saw the "received by visa office" (RBVO) status on ECAS. It appeared for one day and then changed to "In process" the next day. Most people who are being processed at the London VO simply missed the RBVO status because it changes as soon as your file is received and placed amongst those which await processing.

Since my children who are on vacation temporarily "occupied wall street, err the house" I only got to read my emails now. I received a letter from FSW informing me that they have received my payment and that I have received a PER ;D ;D ;D ho ho ho ho ho ho. I am happy to share with you this good news. I hope we all get good news for the coming year ahead.


Finally, we are green, our prayers have been answered westpoint, Congratulations on your PER!

I was away for few days.... Could anyone tell me when was the cap for 631 reached? My consultant is not sure about the date nor am I....

Today I got rejection mail from CIO. Pls. guide me on this.

"I have now completed the assessment of your application for a permanent resident visa as a skilled worker. I have determined that you do not meet the requirements for immigration to Canada.



Subsection 12(2) of the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act (IRPA) states that a foreign national may be selected as a member of the economic class on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada. Subsection 75(1) of the regulations prescribes the Federal Skilled Worker class as a class of persons who are skilled workers and who may become permanent residents on the basis of their ability to become economically established in Canada.



Pursuant to the Immigration and Refugee Protection Regulations, 2002, skilled worker applicants are assessed on the basis of the requirements set out in subsection 75(2) and the criteria set out in subsection 76(1). The assessment of these requirements determines whether a skilled worker will be able to become economically established in Canada. The criteria are age, education, knowledge of Canada's official languages, experience, arranged employment and adaptability.



Your application was assessed based on the occupation(s) in which you requested assessment. The table below sets out the points assessed for each of the selection criteria:

No additional points were assigned for adaptability.



You have not obtained sufficient points to satisfy me that you will be able to become economically established in Canada.

Subsection 11(1) of the Act states that a foreign national must, before entering Canada, apply to an officer for a visa or for any other document required by the regulations. The visa or any other document may be issued if, following an examination, the officer is satisfied that the foreign national is not inadmissible and meets the requirements of this Act. Subsection 2(2) specifies that unless otherwise indicated, references in the Act to “this Act” include regulations made under it.



Following an examination of your application, I am not satisfied that you meet the requirements of the Act and the regulations for the reasons explained above. I am therefore refusing your application.



Note: Any different or new information that you submit cannot be taken into consideration.

Hard luck for the bad news
Would u explain please what is meant by non university degree diploma and why shouldnt u take 25 points away from the experience to compensate.

you had to calculate your points with help of assessing calculator before sending your application to CIO because minimum 67 points are required.Good luck for the next year.

I studied French a couple of years ago in prep for a business trip to Paris. You know how the French people are. You have to speak a little French to gain their respect.

After the trip, I already let go of everything I learned. I was not a natural at it. And there was no one to talk to.

I use google translate too. je ne parle pas francais ( I don't speak french). I find it very hard to pronounce, nearly tongue-twisting syllables. Still I think it's worth putting all the efforts into learning french.

Alliance Francaise is the way to go. To be able to learn to speak French comfortably, you need to go beyond structured course work and make sure you are also somewhat immersed in the French culture. Alliance Francaise makes that easy to do. The immersion approach worked for me. I took classes at the Alliance Francaise de Manille.

I contacted doctor in India and they asked me to write an email to the consulate and give them a copy of the same at the time of medical tests which they would attach with my medical results. They say that they do the same process whenever there is some error in the form. Please share your views..

I suggest you to go ahead with the medicals. DMPs must have tackled such situations before.

But you have to get your DOB corrected before the visa is stamped. Send the correction request again with your med receipt /RPRF . So this issue doesn't crop up in future . Stay healthy. Good luck with meds.

There are so many holidays in between in your case. The delay is just because of that. No worry, you will get it next week.
