I feel that they have made the selection based on region because suppose if they got first 500 applications from india..... they did not accept all the applications.....i believe they did a quota system for different countries...coz maximum application they got from india/pakistan/china and if they select every one from this region then in 3-4 yrs they will have maximum number of immigrants from these regions and i think they want people from different countries not just from some specific countries......i may be wrong....but after my cc was cashed this theory sounds logical to me.....just my opinion

i think your example is logical. to balance all applications, there's need to checkmate through quota, some VO's quota are higher than others but there's need to give everybody equal fairness.

Still in doubt of the new forms. If i indicate the total amount of assets in form IMM0008 Economic classes, do i need to also send the proof of this or is it ok to only show my settlement funds which i have in my bank account that has enough amount as indicated by CIO as per family members numbers?

Why they take too long to encash the processing fees??
Where as in last year when i applied on 24-11-2010 , my fees was encashed on 9-12-2010 itself..
What could be the reason behind this??

This could be due to large influx of applications right at the beginning of year (July 1 2011), reduced cap limits (500) initiating rush for 1122 & 3152 (500*2= 1000 applications).

From the tracker you can see the files reaching on July 4 (actual first day of the current year ) were charged in 16/17 days. So that indicates they started working on this year files quite promptly. Thereafter the charging time is gradually climbing up and files received in August still are unopened.

Last year it was just the opposite , with new requirements like sending complete documents, cap system, new list of eligible occupations, so early July files waited 2 months before being charged while files of Oct/Nov (like yours ) saw it happening quite quickly.

Everyone is keep guessing here about cap reached. Even those who get cap reached mail from cic they are also not sure about there file. I ask through PM to 3-4 person here who got cap reached mail but no one is giving proper information. They can ask to cic about mail through again send inquiry mail or call them about cap reached mail but no one done that. No one is sure here. Ravi, viz and many more here who got cap reached mail but no one even tried to ask about this mail to cic. May be there is some other reason I don't know but some thing is wrong regarding cap reached mail. All backlog thing is different and website update is different, cic never misguide other applicant's who are going to apply. They are very responsible agency. I hope in future everyone will get good news and for those who got cap reached mail will also get good news in future. I pray to god that everyone here will get there PER.

Well, according to the selection of immigration, there has the limitation of annual quote been processing for years that limite the numbers of migrants of countries which is the way they use for equalizing the spicies.
For instance, even if there were 100000 applicants in China, but the limitation of immigrants ther would process everyear could be about 8000 and the amount of totally accepted immigrants of the world might be 250000 per year....as a result, the balance of spicies is never the serious problem instead of the backlog.

Whatever fund you want to show in ur application. You should have proff/supporting to claim that from your side. And you should send all notarised copy of supportings with application to CIO . . . .

I havent heard anything from CIC>> I think Im the only July13th applicant who doesnt have an eligibility result yet.. Im really nervous and anxious about this one.. I am also confused with regards to receiving our emails/letters from CIC since I have a representative..Others said that if you have a representative,. any letters or emails will be sent first to them,.The problem is..I dont even have any idea on how to contact my representative..Does CIC also sent a cc copy of letters to the principal applicant? Hoping to have a good news this week,, I think last week was so slowwww for CIC..only 2-3 person has reported of per..
