hello everybody

I applied under FSW NOC7216 in July 18
my documents was received by CIO on 18 of July and i have received NER on 14th of Oct

"You have indicated that you have work experience in an occupation with the following NOC (National Occupational Classification) code: 7216 – Contractors and Supervisors, Mechanic Trades. Although this NOC code corresponds to the occupations specified in the Instructions identified by the Minister, you have not provided sufficient evidence that you performed the actions described in the lead statement for the occupation or that you performed a substantial number of the main duties of the occupation as set out in the occupational description of the NOC, including all of the essential duties"

Could you please advice, am I send completed forms with new reference letter shown more suitable duties and shown UCI number which was in the letter? or it won't work.
Us i understood they wil not send my documents back. do i need to pass IELTS again and send them full package or they will refuse them because they already did it one time?
Hi Yankee
you will get your documents back in the post, it will take some time
Prepare the nessesary documents to adhere with the reason why you got NER and once you recive your documents back in the post add the nessary and remove the old pnes ans resend
i am not sure if you should add a coverletter stating that you are applying again
good luck

to those who filed before MI3 and wondering why the IN PROCESS status is taking too long, here's the answer to your million dollar question:

"The Canadian Embassy at Manila, echoing the Canadian High Commission at London, has acknowledged that FSW applications received prior to 26 June 2010 will not be processed in 2011 (unless medical forms have already been received). The current processing priority is: First process applications received since 26 June 2010; if the 2011 quota has not yet been reached, review applications received between 27 February 2008 and 25 June 2010; if the quota is not yet filled, review files received before 27 February 2008. Come July 1st, when the new Occupation List will go into effect, files received after 30 June 2011 will be given preference over all others."

I also posted this a while back in the In Process thread.

Logically there is no difference in post june 26 2010 and post july 2011 in terms of MI instructions, why post july has priority over post june 2010, meaning post july 2012 will have priority over post july 2011??

I dont think so this is correct.

Alex , I dont want to wait. I can gather all documents(including IELTS certificate(i will order a copy)) in 2-3 weeks and resend.
so i should send full package anyway?

Yes you can resend the new app even if you did not receive the one from CIC

Although it is the same, post july 2011 will have first priority without doubt... because they have clearly mentioned it. I do not remember where I read it, but its like understood now.. even you can see it when you track applications of june 2011 and july 2011 applicants... there has been very less activity for june 2011 in the last couple of weeks because the Visa Offices are starting to receive july 2011 applications.

Also, if our timeline moves into July 2012... then we will fall to second priority... without doubt. I think they just do it to stick to their "preferred occupations and caps" for the concerned period.

MY application was received on July29,2011 by Miller and my BD was encashed on Oct, 13.
Kindly update my existing thread...

The latest PER is for a July15th applicant as per our spreadsheet. Just wait for your turn. Could take about one month from your bd encashment. BD encashment is currently understood as the application is complete in terms of forms & documents and it is counted towards the cap.
