Hi,

I submitted my application on 8th July under 1122 category, reached Sydney on 11th July..I have heard of few applications being returned stating CAP reached which were submitted on July 5th & 6th.. Would like to understand if the 1122 CAP would have reached so fast...?

Thnx

Hey guys,

I was checking CIC ECAS status regularly..... In last week my contact address was started appearing above the status..... from thursday I was on my official tour and returned back yesterday, due to which meanwhile i couldnt check the status.... when i returned , i checked the status and found that address was appearing but the status got changed to IN PROCESS...... I clicked on the status and found no change in the tracking record. Tracking record was still showing my application recv. date and PER date (not ashowing RBVO status)
How is it possible??? I was expecting RBVO status in this week and IN PROCESS status after 4 months (by analysing earlier/senior status).... Is it a system error, or is it like IN RPOCESS for sending an application to RBVO.....
Seniors Pl guide......

Thanks in advance !! ::)

Please Update Status In Process Dated : 09/OCT/2011
But I could not understand why its before RBVO
anybody help plz

Alain,
Did the ecas status change for you ? It should by now.
I hope our applications are in transit & soon reach their respective VOs.

Thanks for checking up on me RKC. My ECAS status changed to "IN PROCESS" but that does not seem to mean anything now. hahaha. I din't even see an ERC or a RBVO. So now I cannot make anything out of "IN PROCESS."

On another matter, let me join the rest of the gang in thanking you for the work that you out in giving good advice and updating the tracker.

i have been browsing thru the spreadsheet of post 6/26 applicants. https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?authkey=CLDXsFAgid%3D0&key=0AiJy8Qu8lcQbdGxiSnNhME5sVi1uRlZtUWNhOEFwemc&hl=ar&authkey=CLDXsFAgid%3D0#gid=0

I looked into their "eCAS status" and "eCAS Status Date Last Updated". All of those whose status are IN PROCESS got it close to and/or after their 2nd AOR dates. Some from Buffalo and London didnt even have RBVO and 2nd AOR dates. They just got IN PROCESS then their MR dates followed.

We should not take this IN PROCESS change lightly and prepare for our interviews, MR/PCC/RPRF. We have nothing to lose if we do this, but will get delays if we dont. CIC has been doing this for years. i dont think they could make such careless mistakes of issuing IN PROCESS for no reason.

just sharing my observations. believe me or not. up to u guys.

I second this.
it is just a system glitch and does not mean anything at all, unless, you see this sentence in your status:

Your application was reviewed and we started processing on **** **, 2011.

Agreed what you are saying faraz...

Normally, within a week track record (Not status) gets updated since the status change.... We should wait till this week end and it will clear the picture.....whether IN PROCESS for RBVO or as you mentioned it is really a FAST TRACK ........ :)
I think, CIC ppl are really a marketing ppl....They know exactly how to hold the manmind by keeping surprises....

Thanks Alain,
The 'In Process' thing happened too quickly for us. We can't even rejoice as we know it's too good to be true.
If the line " we started processing on ****** date" does not get added in coming weeks, then surely it's an error.
Does Manila issues 2nd AOR? New Delhi does , that's the only way now for me to get to know the VO has my papers.

You are right RKC. "In Process" does not mean anything much to me. But I am happy I even saw any update in my status anyway. I was beginning to think a case worker left my application pack in the dumps.

I am not sure if Manila issues a 2nd AOR. When my brother applied last year he got the MR/RPRF after the 1st AOR. My cousins, on the other hand, got a note from the Manila VO asking for additional documents. They all made it to Canada at the same time. 7 months from end-to-end.

Hi, For me this statement is there in the status

"We started processing your application on XXXX date"

Now what do you say about it :)

Regards.

what is the date of processing?
if it is after RBVO date, then it could be real for you.

The date is the same as PER date, I never got RBVO status. so means that this assumption is not true that if you see "We started processing your application on XXXX date" then this is meaningful right?

so it's obvious. the status is not real because it directly depends on dates. the date cannot be same as PER or RBVO.

same thing happened with medical sentence on Ecas last year.
