Until I don't get back my application physically, I still have hope :)

I got the email that the app. was returned on the 30th of August, but I haven't received the documents yet... it's been 3 weeks from the date they mentioned it was returned... I read on Canada post that normal delivery will take around 7 business days.
Last year it took 2 months for my application to get delivered by regular mail. I had received the email confirmation much before that.

Why did it took soo much time? Does it depends on Canada Post or the local post?

If you are the applicant than it's optional to you to submitte your spous work exp doc. copies with file. If you want to submite than there no problem and if you don't than also there is no problem. But remeber one thing the documents you are sending to CIC if due to some reason thet retuen your file in future they keep the record of you and your spous. That means if you are not sending the spous work ex. doc with your file you have to show her house wife in application forum and in futire also you have show her house wife.

According to the Appendix A checklist of Skilled Workers IMM 5612 checklist, point 7. Work experience states that,
"For you and your spouse or common-law partner:
notorized employment conracts from your present and past employers, accompanied by an English or French translation......"

I provided all the details of both me and spouse. Then again, this is the check list from Singapore and this may be specific to just Singapore.

At present there is no VO checklist. Am i right?

Thanks wonderlust for ur nice reply

Maybe the CIO has received so many applications at once that the immigration officers just developed psychologic disturbs... :-[
And now our applications are been used for origami therapy.... ::)

funny patricia,
u knw that canadians are hockey lovers, so instead of early morning work, they tune to cbc and watch hockey "review" that was played like 2 days ago and argue all day.

i think they should get more qualified hands to do the job

It's the regular mail so the things like customs check take really long.. It's the same case for anyone who has applied from out of Canada... it's going to take 2-3 months.. so it's better that everyone kick start the plan B.. :)
