Contrary to your exp, mine with ICICI Bank on this particular thing has been very good. I have had a lot of other bad service experiences, but on this one they have been very helpful. I call them every alternate day actually. Do visit a branch and get the person's number who sits behind the desk. Its even easier that way.

I sent an inquiry email as well on 6th March itself as the date completes my initial six month of application submission but its already 20 days and no words back from VO. Is it normal they take this long to reply back??

Yes, they take minimum 3 weeks to respond to mails.

Guys from the looks of it NDVO takes around 5-6 weeks from the date that the medicals are done to give you a DM.

which offers very good rates..?

I don't know about India as I live in Dubai but as rule of thumb exchange houses offer better rates and you may negotiate with them while with banks it is more of a take it or leave it situation!

just found frm the bank .MY DD got encashed on 23rd MARCH

Guys I sent my PP thru bluedart and i requested them for proof of delivery and they sent me a PDF via email which just states that it has been delivered and the timing. Do they actually give you a physical copy with the NDVO stamp?
