Hi all - I am a Jan applicant (Application returned due to cap reached) but awaiting July 2012 for re-application... Wondering soul............... if your DD is encashed on 10th March then you should get your PP by 25th March and PP would be stamped on the same day when your DD is encashed.

I am not doubting you but just so happy to know that...the problem is that....my E-cas status is not showing any signs of Decision made or Canadian Address...so .....

Like Big O always says.....ECAS is yesterday's news. So chill buddy. Your PP must be smiling it's way to you!!!

Hi pratik. If u want to pay in INR then make in favour of "canadian high commision" if u want in CAD then "Recevier general for canada" both payable at new delhi. INR is best as it save some money.
One more thing try to get it from a good private bank as it is easy to findout about encashment latter on.

hi dear members, i am bit confused as i did not wrote PO BOX NO. while sending my pps through blue dart i wana know is it ok that would have delivered to ndvo without that also, i have written on envelope is

Blue dart doesn't deliver to P.O Boxes. So there's no need to include it in the address. Don't you worry your PP are with NDVO. Track the status of your shipment online.

No luck even with CAS. I guess I should stop checking CAS, (NDVO doesn't look interested in doing the update, I am so annoyed)

& camp outside my local India Post.

What about your preps, with job offer it's easier. More than half the things are pre decided = less decisions.

according to the form " to be completed by person living outside Canada and being sponsored as spouse common-law partner or conjugal partners.

I AM THE MAIN APPLICANT AND BOTH THESE INFORMATION ARE CONTRADICTING EACH OTHER?

In my opinion, you may send INR to both payees and so also CAD. There is no such thing as CAD to receiver general and INR to CHC.

You save some money doing it in INR though. I agree with that. And thats what I did too.

Hey RKC...Robin was of the opinion that PP should reach within 15 days from DD encash date. I'm not sure if it is only his exp or it is an observation of the general trend. I am waiting for his response to that.

Your DD was encashed on 2nd right. So your PPs are just a few days away, in that case. Isn't it? Yippeeee......

ECAS updates anyway are very erratic. I have heard of one person who got his Visa at hand and the next day his ECAS was updated...lols.......
