my application was sent july 4 by dhl til now it has not arrived at sydney cio aircraft problems accdg to dhl. hope it still makes it to the CAP. or just makes it to CIO.

By the way!! can anyone tell me whats the difference between 1st AOR/PER & 2nd AOR/PER and when 2nd AOR is received?? I guess 1st AOR is received from CIO and 2nd from related visa office??!! is it correct, please clarify

yes 1st aor comes from cio, 2nd one comes from your visa office. that was the system they used before with the post june 26, 2010 applicants.

yap it's indicate in the birth cert of my daughter that my clp is the father, infact there surname is the same... we have also joint bank account..., so this is a strong proof? then I made a good decision? thnx much....

well for me it is a strong proof, let us hope and pray that CIO finds it the same for them too.

Hi Nish,

I have a similar case as well. Sent my application under 1122 on 08/07/2011. I'm not sure whether it will reach within the CAP for this category, as there was a lot of backlog earlier and all of them would have applied. However, it is expected to reach by 13/07/2011 as per the courier company's website.

hey vicky,

but some unfortunate thing happened with me. after i sent my application it came to my notice that i had not included my birth certificate. i was in impression that school leaving certificate will suffice. but then someone told me that BC is compulsory and i also checked with few consultants. so i have called back my courier. i will then translate my BC and send it again with the application package.

but i think all from 1122 catagoey have chce upto july end. i dont think the cap will be closed by then.

Just go to dhl website and put the tracking number and click it then you will see the location of your package or if its already delivered.

Can the cap still be opened? I'm so worry since the cap reduce from 1000 to 500 and it will be closed by the time i submit.

I'm taking IELTS exam on 30 Jul and result will come out only around 13 Aug.

Can anyone advise me?

yep, u still need to provide a copy of ur employment contract... but if u can't, u have to make a written explanation on why u can't provide one..! ;D

No one would know about the status of caps until CIC updates the total complete applications received page on their website. Last year 1122 was open till late october , but that was different as they accepted 1000 applications (instead of 500) & it was the first time people had to send all the docs. to CIO only once. So they took time to assemble everything. This year the story is different with the caps being reduced & many applicants whose application were returned last year (for caps being full) were ready with their entire package waiting for 1st july . Can't say if 1122 would be open till mid august but it's surely is the fast-filling NOC. All the best.

No one can predict when 1122 cap be reached. In my opinion cap will reach by end of this month, but you can still goahead with your ielts, if luck favours to you, you can apply this year after you got resluts, else you can apply next year as your score still valid for 1 year.
