Hello,

I follow your posts every day..its really nice to encourage each other.
My husband is in canada. ..hence I have applied for spouse open work permit on may 27th along wit my son who is one year old.
Received my medicals on Aug 30th...haven't received any request for my son yet.
Submitted medicals on 17th sep..as its been more than a month I have emailed CIC...but no response yet... but received a call frim embassy but unfortunately missed the call

Will they call me again?

I would suggest send an enquiry to cic New Delhi
And explain that why you missed the call and ask
Them about the reason of call.

Hey Fasuu.... Good news from my side.... I have received "Original Passport Request"..... ;D

Hope you would get your processing done as well... Following are the timelines;

Online submission - July 5th

MR - 17th Oct

PPR = 5th Nov

So, it took 120 days from the date of application to the stage of Passport request, I would be submitting my Passport tomorrow at VFS office (in person) and hopefully I get the passport stamped in couple of days.

Hi All:
Have a good news!
I got my passport with the canada visa stamped.
Application details:
Application submitted (along with current valid passport) - July 5 2013
Medical - Sent upfront along with application
Additional dcument req - old passport request on Sep 6th
Passport received with VISA - 5 Nov 2013

I will upload the tracker shortly.
