Yup. AOR 17 Jan, Test update 12 Mar, Presence and Language updated 26 May. BG and Prohibitions still pending

FWIW fingerprints were taken 26 Feb, RCMP sent them the next week

Read the instructions on the passport office location where you intend to apply, as they sometimes change the specifics.

In general for next-day: yes, including something like booked tickets showing departure soon. There are other options though of what can be shown.

Finally got my in- person invite!! It says I am allowed one guest, my husband and I have a 9 month old baby, would she count as a guest? I would need to know if I need to arrange childcare or if she can come with my husband.

It does say one guest but I can't possibly imagine they would turn away a spouse with an infant.

My spouse has attended a couple ceremonies - I don't recall any mention of them being strict or twits about it. I'll ask but I'd say just go for it. Raise a stink and complain if they don't agree immediately - there's a citizenship judge there, who will certainly tell them not to be twits.

Yes AOR jan13th BG completed March19th still waiting for LPP, no update at all since then!

honestly unsurprising, there's a whole thread about delays being caused to people with muslim names and backgrounds in muslim countries. I'm the same case too

Anyone know how long the wait cound be?

I have EXACTLY the SAME timeline - each and every date matches. I also got my LPP done on Aug 15, and reflected on the portal on Aug 19. Still waiting for the oath.

My officer notes say my application is in Vancouver and "Grant Review Ready PM03". I have heard such applications with PM03 will take a long time. Any opinions? Submitted on Jan. 20 and stuck at LPP, BG passed on April 3rd.

I called IRCC today as I've been waiting for LPP for 6 months now without progress. The officer was super nice and polite. He informed me the following:

- Background and security checks are complete
- Language and physical stay are being verified (which is funny because I'm literally a grad from one of the best universities in Canada and only every left canada on plance and had 1,112 days when applying).

Said it's routine and to call back after November (10 month mark) if there still isn't a response.

Received Virtual Oath Ceremony invitation. Can someone help me understand if I can still attend the ceremony virtually if I'm currently outside of Canada?

Most likely not. I suppose you have to inform your ircc citizenship office and clarify. During the virtual ceremony they asked us to cut the pr card. So not sure how that will work for you to get back in to Canada unless you have a passport that does not require a visa to enter Canada.

I was on work permit prior to getting PR so my physical presence in canada is a combination of both “time on work permit”(half day counted) and PR. Do we need to submit any documents as Proof of Physical Presence for citizenship application ? I did not see anywhere in application that any document needs to be submitted so wanted to confirm…
