Hy , I am from SK , I had the Oath of Citizenship last on March 2, How long will take until I will get the Certificate?

Jan 2021 application, AOR March 17th. Test completed Oct 15th. Since then no change in anything! they even asked me to email them all scanned pics of my passport, I did it. Nothing since then!

My citizenship test status was changed to Completed yesterday. Anyone plz guide me when the Language skills, Physical presence and Prohibitions will change to Completed.

I had sent application on Jan 5, 2021.

Added you to the excel spreadsheet. A few questions for you:
1. What city did you apply from and/or which city is processing your application?
2. Did you apply by paper or online? (You mentioned you sent it on Jan 5, so I'm assuming paper?)
3. How many ppl are in the application? 1? 2? 3? 4?
4. If the application was sent on Jan 5, when did they receive it? (if you paid for tracking).
5. When did you pass your citizenship test? Did you write it more than once? that is a long wait from September citizenship test to March 2022 for it getting marked complete!

With regards to when you will get DM and oath, it is really uncertain. Some people get it within a couple of weeks or a month of completing the citizenship test. Others wait more than 6 months or even a year to get oath scheduled. It's really different and hard to predict whether you'll be one of the quick ones or the slow ones.

I think they normally say 4 to 6 weeks to receive your certificate? However, a lot of locations (other than Ottawa) you might get between 2 and 4 weeks? Really depends on the office I think.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully you get DM and oath scheduled soon, now that they have finally marked your test complete after 6 months! (Decision Made happens when all of the items are marked complete except for oath.) Keep me updated so I can keep the tracker updated. Hopefully you'll have good news for us soon, since they are working on your file now.

Oh, that means its in the mail! As soon as they mark your application closed, that means it is supposed to be in the mail! So, hopefully you get it within a few days, at the longest a week?

It's quite unpredictable. Some will get oath soon after getting DM (within a month) where as there are others from 2019/2020 who have had a DM for at least a year I think with no oath scheduled. It seems to be the luck of the draw when you get it? But hopefully you'll get it in March or April!

I wonder has anyone got test invite from the Vancouver office over the past couple of months? My mp didn’t help. I just my file is at the Vancouver office with no movement since May.

Received my Oath Invitation on March 9th and the Citizenship Ceremony' status has been changed to 'In Progress'. Rest all 'Completed'. The Oath is scheduled for March 25th.
