I just did my test, got 20/20, and then closed the page. Is that what I was supposed to do? And is there anywhere I can check to see if the tesf has been submitted?
Congrats on passing! And wow - a perfect score!

Decision Made - April 6, 2022
Citizenship ceremony - Not started
Exciting news, especially for me as you are an Ottawa applicant!

My PR card expired in March, and I sent a renewal request with urgent processing as I will be travelling at the end of April.

I got my PR renewal AOR on April 4 and then later on in the week both my PR Card Renewal and Citizenship application showed "Decision Made". The date for citizenship updates was April 6 and my new PR card (which arrived yesterday) has an expiry of April 7, 2027, so it was probably complete on the same day.

In my urgency request letter I randomly mentioned that I haven't renewed my PR yet (It had recently expired) because I was hoping my citizenship application would come through.

I'm wondering if the PR renewal people just contacted the citizenship people and used the Physical Presence that was already "In Progress" for months and probably all of the work had been done. I had almost 4 years of PR residence when I filed my citizenship application so that would have been good enough.

I feel like the Ottawa VO has thousands of files that are just sitting around. The good news is that I have a valid PR card and my citizenship application is getting looked at. The bad news is that I paid $85 in fees, picture, shipping, etc for a card that I will probably use once and then have to cut up in a month or two.

Exciting news, especially for me as you are an Ottawa applicant!

I received invitation for test and I have given the test. received 18/20. Do I need to take action after taking the test? Or just wait? My CIC citizenship tracker still shows "waiting on you" means I am yet to take the exam but I have taken exam 3 days ago. Thank you.

I believe that is completely normal. It usually takes them a few days to mark the test as "complete".

Interesting coincidence for sure! Maybe the PR renewal did have some impact on getting Ottawa to pick up your file! Yes, it does seem like there is a lot waiting in Ottawa to be completed...

Hi all! I thankfully received an invite to take the oath on April 6th, with the ceremony itself scheduled for April 14th. However, typically, I was away during this time so had to request for it to be rescheduled.

Does anyone have experience of rescheduling their ceremony and any idea how long it might take to hear back? Thanks!

Edit: Also, I checked my tracking account and the "Citizenship oath activity status updated" status was changed on April 1st.

Does anyone have the below updates?
My old ecas portal now shows DM
Whereas new tracker still shows Physical Presence, Language Skills and Prohibitions as Inprogress and Citizenship Ceremony Not Started.

Let me know what can I expect here???
