is beirut office working fast? did anyone submit his passport and got it back?
I contacted my MP’s office and they got back to me with this status update:
- The application was received at the Case Processing Centre in Mississauga, Ontario, on January 14, 2020.
- The initial assessment to ensure the sponsor meets all the sponsorship requirements was finalized on February 10, 2020.
- The assessment for the applicant has not been initiated.
- The medical examination results have expired.
- The criminality verifications are currently valid.
- The security verifications have not been initiated.
- Due to COVID-19, IRCC is experiencing processing delays and we can’t provide you with accurate processing times for this application.
Hey,
We had two update in row yesterday and day before yesterday. Could you tell what it means, our GC key was asking “ action required” or additional docs required, until we manage to upload Additional document in GC key that was missing., now my question is does it reflect anything at this point. Since the status now is submitted as well.

March 16th - Start processing Applicant file
Nov 3rd - RPRF paid without request
Nov 22nd - Ghost Update
Dec 30th - Ghost Update
January 12th 2021 - Confirm of receipt of RPRF
March 31st 2021 - Pre Arrival
April 1st 2021 - Decision Made
