Is your wife currently a Indian resident? I have seen cases where only the people residing outside canada are requested re-medical.

Hello Everyone,

I called IRCC to get an update on the file today and if they can advise of any timeline. Agent informed they are only prioritizing student and workers right now and FSW/CEC Outland will not get anything atleast until sep 9 when the border is open for visitors. @legalfalcon Could you please share your views on this since all agents give different answers every time.

I am so depressed now with this message

This is not an official announcement by IRCC. Some outland PR applicants are getting PPRs, but it is slow.

yeah its not an official announcement. On the dec 2019 group some of the UK residents have received PPRs. So might be dependent on many factors such as country of residence and maybe others. Even if the agent mentioned Sept 9th, its only a couple of months away :)

Hi guys and @legalfalcon ,

Hi guys, Jan 2 2020 AOR and intial medical expired on jan 2021 ! As per notes file
Is ready for approval since june 2020.

I just got an update on the portal and it says “July 27,2021 you passed the medical”.

My initial COR was Australia and I moved back to my home country Pak in March 2021. My medical expired while I was in Australia so does this mean my medical will be extended as per COR candidate from Aus or Pak? Thank you

Medicals have nothing to do with your country of residence in terms of they being passed.

For extensions, you can read my previous post at #13,190
