So where are you supposed to send your passport to for your PR visa?

I'm sending to Accra visa office

Hi everyone & @legalfalcon,

When we submit the passports for visa stamping, if one of them is renewed and has different details than the PR application; do we need to send email/webform to update the records? or only submit the new one to VFS without updating the application?

In IRCC email, it is mentioned to "submit valid travel document" without mentioning or focusing on keeping the same passports. please advise.

Before the PPR is sent the details of your COPR, its expiry and the PR visa is entered into the GCMS notes. The COPR and visa cannot be issued beyond the validity of your medicals or the passport, which ever expires before.

So you should send the scan of the biographical pages of your passport to IRCC via webform and then send your passports for visa.

Assuming you do not send your biographical pages scan to IRCC via webform, and just straight away send your renewed passport, it won't be an issue at all either.

What do the other notes say. i.e. Note 2 and 3.

Since your security is not started and neither is criminality, it seems that your eligibility has only been recommended passed. See #2,521

Were you asked for RCMP PCC.

You will have to provide more info and background on your case as well as ask any specific questions that you may have.

Receive PPR
Renew PP
Submit webform
Submit passports (prior to confirming the changes were updated in the file)

Is that OK? My point is not to submit any Webform at the moment to delay the process

I have a question for you, your answer is highly appreciated.

I will give you a brief first:

AOR 31 Jan
LVO
GCMS exactly as yours with one exception which is that they did not mention "medical extension requested"

I received GCMS notes on 18th Sept, earlier than yours. At that point they did not mention that the medical needs extension.

I assume this note was added later than 18 th Sept (as yours).

My question to you, was the "medical" section in the online application changed?

For me it was changed on 20 th Oct. Now it is written "you do not need a medical exam, we will send you a message if this changes" while it was earlier showing a passed date of Feb 2020.

Please advise

I have received GCMS notes last night and notes -2 which is dated in May says ready for approval, while notes-1 dated in August says passport renewal doc received and nothing much. I have renewed passport in July and sent them via a webform and now I see Infosharing is pending, Is info sharing still pending because of passport renewal? I applied GCMS on Sept 21 and received on OCT 21 any help is appreciated guys and please suggest @legalfalcon ?

Hi Everyone, seems like Ottawa has become active, received GU this morning, and background check was updated to "we are processing..". My BGC was not started as per latest webform up until this Monday, so fingers crossed
