i have got two times email from cic regarding covid 19 survey ?
Does anyone have received such a email ?
does participating such a mail affect in processing speed ?
please focus, tomorrow is last date for me to take part in this survey.

Thank You
Don't worry... U can participate in this survey. Yesterday I had also complete this online survey. It doesn't affect our
application at all. It is voluntary participation.

June 22: Email from IRCC
Me: "Yesss! An update, finally"
IRCC: "Please complete this survey"
.....
June 30: Email from IRCC
Me: "Oh my gosh, this has to be about my PR"
IRCC: "Just a reminder to complete the survey before July 3"
.....
Fool me once, shame on you
Fool me twice.... I'm an idiot

I know the wait is hard guys, try to keep hanging in there

I also received and did the survey. It says in the survey itself that it does not affect your application in any way.

Once you done with your Medical, They will give you E-Medical Receipt, On the same day I filled Webform to IRCC and Into details of webform rightdown that you have completed upfront Medical and Attached that E-Medical receipt with that.

Once your Visa Officer will get that Receipt, he or she would be able to Pass your Medical which your panel Physical would submitted within a week.

Anyone in here whos actually beyond the 18-month wait time? If so, what do you do when you don’t get an update beyond the timeline?

PS. Happy Canada Day yall!

AR 31 December 2018
AOR 15 March 2019
MR 6 September 2019
MP October 2019
ADR 13 January 2020 (schedule A)
ADR submitted 30 January 2020
No updates from IRCC since January 2020.
The only thing I noticed few days ago is when I usually check my application status through the automated messages they told me that they are reviewing the additional documents provided, but not anymore. It was removed. But they're still processing my background check. Do you guys think this update can be a good sign? I hope good news coming soon. My application processing timeline has passed the18 months two days ago.
In addition, my application hasn't been transferred to any visa office, do you think CIO Sydney NS issue COPR as well?!

Good luck everyone!

Thank you!

If they really going to process paper-based PR applications from 1st of July, we would start to see people getting update from tomorrow, such as AOR, MR, ADR, DM and COPR.

If in the coming week, which is from 1st July to next weekend, if we not seeing any update, then it means still nobody processing paper cases, do you agree with me on that?

Agree!

There are still many applicants in 2018 paper based group (on canadavisa forum) who have been waiting for 25-26 months and so far no update. We still are in good phase. What situation they have been going through?..

I went on their 2018 forum and read few posts and noticed that most of the ones who are waiting since 2018 have changed their martial status after filing their PR and added their spouse between ongoing PR application. So basically, those applicants are filing PR for TWO PERSON in one application so of course IRCC will take longer than usual to process such type of applications. I have always noticed longer waits on such type of PR applicants.

Hope they get their PR soon!!
