I got the Pre-Arrival Services Letter on Oct 2. Will it take another 2-3 months to get PPR? This waiting game is no fun at all.

Hi All, i submitted my Paper based PR application on Sept 9 2019 and still haven't received any updated or Application Number. Postal service shows it as delievered but no further communication from CIC.

1) Can you please let me know what is the normal response time of CIC once application is delivered
2) How can I reach out to CIC if I want to check on my application without any application number

Thank you in advance for your help

Hi,

I got mine (AOR) after 2 months since they received my application. Yours was just barely a month old, so it is still premature to panic or contact them. Aor is between 2 - 4 months after they received your application. I do understand the feeling.

Shop around on this forum to gain better insights. I would suggest to add more patience. The program itself is unpredictable, i am paranoid at times.

So, good luck! Lets keep in touch!

Cheers!

Hi,

Below is my timeline...
AR - Feb 18, 2019
AOR - April 17, 2019
MR - Sept. 09, 2019
MD - Sept. 19, 2019

I don't have access to GCKey since i have a lawyer. That is why i can't tell if my medical is passed or when it was passed.

I am also Inland (OINP) with one dependent (wife). My wife is in my home country but will be coming to Canada next month (was given OWP).

Cheers to all of us who are waiting for this long journey. It will be a long, cold winter for us. Hopefully, when summer comes more good news awaits for us.
