Hi all, Those of the Jan. applicants who haven't heard anything from their office till now, should we call CIC or what to do? What should we do if we haven't heard till Jan 2020? Is that normal? Please experts respond to my repeated queries. TIA

I was going to call them early Feb after 12 months had passed to ask if I could get an update.

Many many still don’t even have tests. I think they claim 80% in 12 months, while I don’t know what sample or numbers we have it looks like they’re going to fall a little short unless lots of people have gotten details and not updated.

Thanks for your response. I'm re-applying after waiting for 6 yrs in my first application with no response at all. Then I took it to the court and ended up to withdraw and reapply. It is a frustrating process to some people indeed

That really is terrible and puts many of our waits into perspective. Did you get AoR last time?

There's no real harm in phoning them now except I fear you have a very high chance of a long long wait on the phone and then being told wait for 12 months :(

The very best of luck.

Hi Admin,
I wrote and passed my test today, December 4.
Also, two days ago,on Dec 2, I was requested to submit my fingerprints. I did it today right after I wrote my test (through an accredited organization).
The officer at CIC said once they receive the fingreprints from the RCMP, I will be invited to take the oath.
Can you update my record accordingly? I will keep you posted when there is a new update.

Thanks!
