The GU can happen any time in the day or night. Actually there is a batch process which process the records in the cic database and if that runs longer or fails then the status change can be delayed. Thus on weekend also you can see the updates since the batch is still running. Hope this helps all to keep the spirit high.

One of my GU came on a Saturday and also the CIC agent over at the call center mentioned that they officer made comments on Saturday. So, safe to assume that 1st layer of approval comes from people who work Saturday’s
