hi guys,
Is anyone monitoring the AOR status. Up to what date CIC has sent AOR so that we can predict ours. My application delivered on 8th Jan'2018 and i observed there is very low number of application during the month of Dec'2017.
I'm following the 2017 spreadsheet too , and I noticed today that Dec applicants started to receive AOR (Avg:45 days).
My hope that the average would decrease , cause the numbers of applicants seems getting lower than Oct and Nov 2017

It is very frustrating!

Thanks for the link. Though it shows the same tracking info.
Just go to the post office and locate the clerk who handled your package and ask a explanation. Maybe its still lying there in some corner and not handed over to the collection guy .

so I just spoke to an agent on the phone, and so far they've sent AOR to application received on Nov 27th (some that were received before have not gotten their AOR yet), so we're looking at almost 2 months wait after the package is received.
there is no way to check if you send it regular mail. and if one of the photos has the date blurred or erased it's ok as long as the other photo has a clear date on the back of it and both photos are identical (like someone already pointed out here).... so there I hope this helps

Remember that IRCC's official estimate for Citizenship Grant processing time is 12 months. Looking back over the past spreadsheet there isn't a single example of any application taking more than 6 months, so it's understandable to have high hopes for a similar timeline. However I think the influx of October applications is only just now starting to show it's evidence on the spreadsheet with the November and December AOR's averaging closer to 50 days (all other months in 2017 were around 30-35 days).

I'd expect this to be a continuing trend, and I have a feeling that most January AOR's will come 50-60 days after IRCC receives a completed package. But this still keeps things on track to be under the official estimate of 12 months, so we should still be considering any faster processing to be lucky!

hi all,
location: Gatineau
sent Jan 8th
received: don't know (hopefully received already)

I just have a question: on the photos I noticed that one of them had the date on the back of it erased as the ink was still not dry, but the other one was good. had to send it quickly before the post office closes...does anyone know if they would return it because of the one date?
So the entry can be complete, how many days in Canada and are you a single or family applicant?

Hi
I have a question on the application to citizenship. Question 6 (List all names).
My wife's last name was different before marriage (her father's name). After marriage ( husband name).
But all her passport and PR documents reflect my name as her last name. She did not have a passport before marriage. By filling out the "name at birth" and "Married Name" will they ask for proof of the "name of birth". She does not have a documentary evidence mentioning her name as "First Name" "Father Name". But in all her documents his father name is mentioned (including the passport). I don't think this is a cause for concern. Request experts opinion and I sure there will be lot many people who would have filled the form with the same situation. I am ready with all the documents for sending it today. Awaiting for your reply.

Thank you!

Include all of her names whether those names are in her immigration documents or not.
