Congrats Jenifer ...excellent description... I see why you are a champion member..!! I passed the test too with 20/20 and my wife with 18/20 on March 23 but still waiting for DM status. I see most of the folks got the status changed to DM the next day. Good luck to all...!!

Why do I feel that, currently, the applications for people who did not have an exam invite is on hold. hmmmmmmmm
I applied on the exact date as my sister. And I already received my exam date 3 weeks ago. and she hasnt received hers yet. hmmmmm

Hi..I'm from Halifax. I have applied for citizenship on Jan 19, 2017 and application received at Sydney office on Jan 23, 2017. Its been more than 2months and I didn't get AOR yet. Looks like people getting AOR's in 2-3 weeks. Am I only person like this or Anyone waiting for AOR's who applied in January? Is there a way to know status of our application? How do we get the AOR's through email or mail?

Okay. That makes me feel better. I called the CIC to see if I was missing anything and they said I wasn't.

I called them today to check if there is any notes in my file.

The agent told me that there is nothing in my file indicates that they received my FP result.
I told him that I did it in Feb 28th and I received the original result in Mar 7th and based on UPS portal, they received it in Mar 9th.

He was surprised that RCMP sent me the original! He said that ideally, they should send it directly to IRCC!

At the end, he added a note to my file with the information I shared with him and asked me to call after 1 days to check again !!!



Any recommendations??

Just got my Proof of Citizenship in the mail today. Weirdly I was never able to log in and see where I was in the process, but it's done. I am a citizen by birth, so my process was theoretically shorter. However I'm in the US, so it was theoretically longer. Guess it all came out in the wash!

Good luck everyone on quick processing times. The stress of waiting isn't fun.

ojenifer0 - some of the tests from the links are kind of harder than the others, like v-soul & citizenshipsupport.ca. not sure if you spend lot of time with them ? just trying to get an idea of how much effort to put in this test. My test is about three weeks from now. I have already spend over 20 hours on the book and some online test. I can score 100% on apnatoronto and citizenship support but other test I am only scoring 60-70% . Not sure if i should spend another 30 hours on the material

Hello ,
I got my FP done at local police station with in 6 day of FP letter.
They were telling me that now i will get it from RCMP to send thereafter to my CIC office.

Any comment as generally how long it takes to " Local police > RCMP > me ..."

I got a certificate type pf letter from RCMP
-- Do I need to send it to CIC myself
-- my eCAS still showing 3 line and no mention for FP etc although I got letter for FP and now I got FP report also.

Any advise pls
