I just checked my mailbox and the letter is here too.
I guess it's more like a address proof from CIC.

ecas status is still 'In process' but a new line has been added with something like 'We sent you a letter on xx.xx.xxxx to appear for a citizenship test....'

Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the ecas status. The letter that you received in mail is the main thing. Good luck with your exam!

So far Montreal office is the slowest...nobody from Montreal is IN PROCESS

so far only 3 offices have issued test notices: Hamilton, Ottawa and Edmonton.

Use the first one if you are sending regular mail.
If you use Canada post express or any other courier, use the second one.
I would recommend using Canada post express, it would allow you track and its quite faster as well, takes only couple business days and you also get a proof of delivery.

I used the 2nd one which is the Courier Address plus hubby declared my applications worth $100 incase something happen. Also, the amount that hubby paid at Canada post express was $29.19 and has tracking number.
