23 days since my application was received and no AOR yet. Anyone else experiencing that?

That make sense Mzoubi. Thanks a lot. Could you please tell me where shall I notify them about my vacation or going away? I shall be away for 24 days in a row...so I better let them know but I need an address or email to inform them. Can anyone help?

No worries Raj: I would call CIC and tell them that you were planning your annual vacation and came across this, and you thought of letting them know in advance (that's if you decide to apply before you leave).

If you'd like to wait, then do so, and no need to inform anybody anything

ha ha ha...funny though...I think I'd apply..I mean I shall send my file just before I leave for my home country and if anything comes in between I shall respond to them accordingly...they are not irrational to hold someone stuck in Canada while there is urgency of people going out of country...ever after eligible for citizenship

You can write a letter to the cic through their web form. You'll see the highlighted WEB FORM in the link that I mentioned earlier or below this post.

Thanks a ton 0jenifer0. As per CIC there is no obligation of leaving Canada after applying for Citizenship. Only thing matter is my Card need to be valid and my plan is to send them the file just the day before I leave for my 24 days vacation and mostly they will make their correspondence over the email and in that case if anything comes (god forbid) then I'd inform them that I'm on vacation and can send them all the required documents right after I come back. I'm not sure if they would ask anything in just 3 weeks. But as Mzoubi says it correct I need to be careful before sending the application so that nothing slips away.

Before I send my application can someone please share the list of docs you sent to IRCC in order manner? I'm sure you all have a nice list of things done already. I'd be oblige. Also does it required to send all the empty pages of passport or just the pages with visa and stamps only?

Follow the documents gathering and check list. Do not send extra document. Only passport pages that have info or stamp on it. Non English stamps or documents need to be translated.

Hi All ,

Received my AOR today in the email . Its pretty fast I was expecting it to be at least another week.Hope they maintain this till the end of application.

wow its incredibly fast, they received your application on 23rd and on 26th you got AOR.
hope my wife can also get it quickly...

Try logging into eCAS to see if they have your application.
Or try calling the CIC call centre and speaking to an agent to see if they can check the system for your case.

This is just odd.. Try to login into ecas using your permanent resident card and see if there is anything.
I would probably wait another week and then would call them..

Any way it's been a week since a mysterious 4th line showed up in my ecas and I still didn't receive any documents from them...
