Hi Jenifer..need to know 2 things:

1) In the form CIT0002E Section 6-H "Work and Education" History - What shall I write the reason of my wife being Unemployed? Like she was a Home Maker and where shall I write this?
Like:

From TO Work/Education Employer of School Attended
2014-10 2015-10 Home Maker Unemployed

I was also Unemployed for some days. What Shall I write the reason and where?

2) Biographical Page of Passport - as per cic Instruction Guide "The biographical page means the page that has your name, photo, passport/travel document number, issue date and expiration date." but one of my friend told me to send all the pages to avoid questionnaire or review of the passport irrespective of the page has visa or stamp or empty.

What exactly shall I send?

2. What I did was only the page of my passport where my personal identification is. But since hubby kept insisting and the one who knows better about that kind of application he also sent pages of my passport that has immigration stamps. Well since he wants that I just let him be, because he went in the same process long time ago.


That's what we did on my application.

I got AOR on Feb 02 but not able to check online status. it is always as follow

Exactly Raj, that's what hubby told me. And maybe it won't delay the processing, if for example we mistakenly added extras... ;D

Link is on CIC website, just look for check your application status, and then select citizenship from the dropdown list and then follow the instructions.

If u can't access it still, call the CIC Call Centre 1-888-242-2100 and speak to an agent. Ask them for help with your ecas.
Hopefully they can help to get it activated for you.
You already have AOR so your app is definitely under processing, don't worry.

You can always ask your local MP's office for help as well.

Unfotunately my friend Fay got a bad news today, she had told me while on her way to work that her Application was returned... I know it's not a good day for her. What a day, I felt really bad for her well I just hope she'll feel better soon and told her not to give up and to comply asap to IRCC. And about Rhia she pm'd me and told me no news yet.

sorry to hear that but im sure if she will comply what were lacking in the application she can still apply. No losing hope here, we've been through a lot already to have our PR before , this is just a piece of trial to what we had encountered in life in canada. I just have one question Jen, is there any possibility our application will be returned after getting AOR? im just worried a little bit.

Mine was returned too, I provided the missing info and resent the same application next day. Nothing to loose hope or sleep over.

Thanks blessymay, that's what I've told her. But I felt bad for her because she's been here since 2006 came here as TFW to her twin sister. I met her we went in the same school here in TO back in 2013. She just got her PR status two yrs ago so we had a different situation. I know she's a fighter.

About your case I think if you had received your AOR it mean your application was ok. Because my friend never received AOR.

Also about may case my Application status in ECAS was IN PROCESS so far their not asking anything yet. So maybe so far so good.

In the eve of your answer another questions came to my mind: my wife has done some courses in 2 colleges in Ontario..they were not diploma just independent courses and she has been given certificate but she has her full degree in architecture from home country. My question: does she also need to provide both the certificate from both the college or her architecture certificate is enough if I mention in the application that she has done some education in those colleges?
